Derreck Pickard is an associate at Global Results Communications (GRC), responsible for tracking client and competitor coverage, researching relevant media and reporters, pitching stories and placing contributed articles and interviews on behalf of clients. He also serves as the PRSSA liaison for GRC’s Tiger Team, an internal group that organizes charitable events as well as workshops and mentorships for students. With intelligent creative writing, problem solving and campaign ideation among his competitive strengths, he thrives under pressure and is able to succinctly communicate with internal and external teams. Prior to joining GRC, Derreck worked in hospitality and in the education sector, teaching children with speech disabilities and autism.
