Yes, the fence is not a problem, but you need to check the setback lines with your city office. Setback is a certain area close to your property lines where you can't put equipment or build structures. Each property will have its own setback lines and dimensions.

Can I place a gazebo on a deck?
Yes, you can, as long as the deck has the proper footings and columns to transfer the gazebo's weight load onto the ground, if the whole weight of the gazebo is on the deck without proper supports may cause damage or collapse. Specially in high snow areas.

Should I put a gazebo on a lawn?
Yes, you can put a gazebo on a lawn, as long as you have the proper footings, but is recommended some type of moisture barrier. Even ground contact lumber in constant direct touch with bare/moist ground may cause premature rot. The frame of the gazebo floor needs to air out after it gets wet in order to last it's full lifespan.

Should I put a gazebo on a patio?
Yes, you can put a gazebo on a patio, but if it's a thin concrete patio, or a paver patio, it is recommended that new deeper concrete footings are created to take the load off of the patio, otherwise it could crack the patio or cause the pavers to sink.

Can I put a gazebo on my front lawn?
Yes, you can put a gazebo in your front lawn, as long as setbacks lines and HOA allows it. Always keeping in mind to do proper foundations and have it installed in proper moisture level ground.

Can I put a gazebo on pavers?
Yes, you can put a gazebo on pavers, but you need to make sure that there's extra concrete support under the pavers to prevent cracking or have the pavers sinking into the ground. This could be done by removing some pavers where the columns of the gazebo will go and install new concrete footings with anchor bolts to also make sure wind won't take it away, and then re-install the pavers around the columns or over the new concrete footings.

Should I have a gazebo nearer or further from the house?
Gazebos is mostly known for being a freestanding structure which usually doesn't have any walls around it, but it could be done at any location, but if it's nearby an existing structure, you have to make sure that you have what's called "Crickets", that makes sure that no roof throws water directly into another structure walls.
