He brings a particular expertise in creating specialized investment strategies and identifying opportunities that meet the changing demands of the industry. Under his leadership, TRUE Capital has built a reputation for its deep roster of clients across all major sports categories worldwide, and throughout the global entertainment industry.
As the company has grown, Doug has remained steadfast in his commitment to delivering the highest level of service to his clients. Over the years, he has created and led multiple capital raises for start-up ventures and companies, as well as exits, and initial public offerings, helping TRUE Capital grow into a leading provider of venture capital through its Alternative Investments division. Doug combines his talents of negotiation and deal structure to every relationship, and he has been instrumental in developing countless successful partnerships, including branding opportunities with key celebrity athletes and entertainers.
In addition to his role at TRUE Capital, Doug mentors entrepreneurial companies on corporate strategy, financial management, capital fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions, and he sits on a number of advisory boards, as well as on the Board of Coaching Corps.
Doug grew up in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Strategic Analysis from Boston College.
