Dr. Ajay Verma, MD, PhD | Source | Scientific Consultant at Radicle Science

Dr. Ajay Verma is neurologist, neuroscientist and entrepreneur researching drug development for Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases.

Ajay has held leadership roles at several Biopharma companies including Biogen, Novartis and Merck. He has contributed significantly on improving the assessment of disease progression and drug effects in diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS.

Ajay is currently is a General Partner with the Formation Venture Engineering group, which specializes in deep life sciences technologies, and is leading an affiliated a startup incubator.

Prior to his Biopharma career, Ajay was Professor of Neurology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and served as staff neurologist at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Ajay received his MD and PhD training at Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine and Public Health respectively and his BS from the University of Maryland.
