  • Unlocking the Mystery: Why Some People Don't Have Body Odor
Dr. Garcia explains that genetics, particularly among East Asians, can lead to less body odor due to reduced amino acid production. Diet also plays a role; "cruciferous vegetables and red meat can worsen odor," while citrus fruits and green tea may help. Stress sweat, produced by apocrine glands, tends to smell worse. Maintaining gut health and using antibacterial washes can help manage odor without deodorant.

Dr. Garcia says, "Exfoliate weekly and moisturize daily with products containing urea or shea butter." Consistent care can restore softness in up to two months.
  • Expert Tips for Organizing Skincare at Home
