Dr. Fried is one of a handful of neurosurgeons in the country to be board certified in both general neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery. He is a nationally recognized leader and innovator in pediatric and adult neurosurgery, pediatric and adult brain tumor surgery, and epilepsy surgery. He specializes in all aspects of pediatric neurosurgery and intracranial surgery in adults and children, especially for brain tumors, epilepsy and minimally invasive endoscopic brain surgery. He holds leadership positions in several New Jersey medical centers including chairman emeritus of Neurosurgery at Hackensack Univ. medical center where he led the department for 14 years and achieved US news and World report top rankings in the mid 20's nationwide for pediatric and adult Neurosciences.
