Dr. Danielle Giacona attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate and medical degrees, completing her surgical residency at McLaren Macomb in the Detroit area and fellowship at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2022, Dr. Giacona obtained certification from the American Board of Wound Management and began working at Nipomo Wound Clinic. Her relevant surgical expertise includes performing partial and full-thickness skin grafts and closures of post-surgical and other complex wounds. She is able to treat wounds on any part of the body. She has surgical privileges at all local Dignity hospitals, as well as Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Coastal Surgical Institute.
