Owner of Dee for Dentist, Dee Dee Meevasin, DMD, is an experienced dentist with more than 22 years of industry experience. She attended the University of California, Irvine where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and was a member of the UNLV School of Dental Medicine’s second graduating class where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Since launching her practice in 2011, Dr. Dee Dee has become a key opinion leader (KOL) in different facets of dentistry, as well as a beta tester, mentor, and advanced clinical trainer of dental technology. She was the first female dentist in Las Vegas to acquire chair-side CEREC Omnicam technology and is currently the only dentist in Southern Nevada using OperaVR, a drug free digital nitrous system for patient sedation. She is also the first and only female dentist to perform a live implant surgery at DS World.

A Las Vegas native, Dr. Dee Dee has made it a priority to give back to the community through various initiatives including Smile It Forward, the Dee for Dentist Fills Good program which supports and raises awareness for various local nonprofits, and her annual participation in Freedom Day providing free dental care to local veterans and their families. In 2019, Dr. Dee Dee became a clinical partner for Team Smile, which partners dental practices with professional athletic organizations to provide life-changing dental care to underserved children in local communities.

Dr. Dee Dee has been awarded with numerous accolades including UNLV’s 2014 Alumni of the Year from the School of Dental Medicine and MANAO’s Asian Women of Inspiration Award in 2020 which recognizes Asian Women leaders in the Las Vegas community. She has been featured on various industry podcasts and has contributed to numerous trade journals including CEREC Doctors, Dental Products Report, and Dental Entrepreneur.
Dr. Dee Dee is passionate about providing every patient with undivided attention and care in a comfortable environment while focusing on their long-term oral health. She regularly attends continuing education courses so she can train her team and mentor fellow associates on current and new industry standards and technology.

In her free time, Dr. Dee Dee enjoys the theater, traveling, dining out and spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
