UCI Health has opened the first U.S. clinical trial of a novel radiofrequency device designed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). “This therapy has the potential to help many men who suffer from ED and who have no alternative solutions,” said Dr. Faysal Yafi, medical director of men's health services at the UCI Health Center for Urological Care and the study's principal investigator.
This therapy has the potential to help many men who suffer from ED and who have no alternative solutions. A previous pilot trial with 28 patients had surprisingly good results and showed that the Ohh-Med device is safe. We are pleased to be part of this study and expand the research into potential new treatments for ED.
