Dr. Hummel is an Associate Professor in the Information Systems Management and Analytics Group at Warwick Business School, The University of Warwick, a role he assumed in December 2024. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Warwick Business School starting in September 2018. Jochem holds a PhD from the KIN Center for Digital Innovation (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), where he conducted research on collaboration and innovation among heterogeneous actors, completing his doctorate in June 2019. He earned his Master of Science in Strategic Management (cum laude) in 2014 from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.
