So, the Internet of Things is essentially everyday objects with the ability to connect to and exchange data over the internet and includes many different objects from Fitbits to Amazon Alexas, smartwatches, all the way up to connected dishwashers, connected thermostats. And it's essentially the ability to use these products via the internet and it gives us many different affordances. Such as in the case of thermostats, it would be personalized heating services based on our behavior and habits.
