Dr. Nadim Maluf is a battery chemistry expert, entrepreneur, and disruptive technologist who is reinventing the foundations of energy storage and mobility. He is the Co-founder and CEO at Qnovo in the Bay Area, the award-winning pioneer in predictive battery management software that enables batteries to safely charge faster with extended longevity. He has over 30 years of experience in developing software solutions to engineer better experiences for a more resilient future and holds over 50 patents in the space.

With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Nadim’s innovative approach to battery management software design and predictive analytics delivers faster charging, longer battery life, unequivocal safety, and significant carbon reductions. At Qnovo, he works with all car manufacturers and legacy car makers who are making the transition to electric and leads a world-class team passionate about blending chemistry with software and systems expertise for electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and consumer electronics.

Previously, Nadim was an entrepreneur-in-residence at US Venture Partners and has held numerous leadership roles at LumaSense, Bookham, Stanford University, New Focus, and TRW Automotive. He frequently speaks at events around the world, has published numerous books and articles, and is often quoted in the media.
