Dr. Nika Fabienke leads teams who design curriculum and learning experiences for the digital environment and serves as co-chair of the Age of Learning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. Prior to Age of Learning, Nika was a teacher, district curriculum specialist, and educational consultant. She has helped teachers and administrators bring rigorous, research-based, culturally responsive instruction to young learners. She earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University and a Doctorate of Education in Teacher Education in Multicultural Settings (TEMS) from the University of Southern California. Nika combines practical knowledge from the classroom, road-tested wisdom from professional development work, and formal academic understanding of science of how children learn.
