Dr. Ataii obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his dental externship at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ataii has completed over three thousand clear aligner cases and has served the dental community as an educator, expert witness, and practicing dentist. He is nationally recognized as a Key Opinion Leader, with multiple peer reviewed publications, and over 27 years of private practice, 19 years of which have been dedicated to clear aligner therapy. He has had over 15 national media appearances where he has been interviewed on his expertise and published over 33 times.

He continues to develop solutions improving and simplifying how comprehensive dentistry is delivered to patients. As a patent holder of an FDA- cleared oral device, he continues to innovate dental health solutions that help dental practices reap the rewards of modern technology for their patients. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Orthodontic Support at Aspen Dental Management Inc.
