Dr. Phyllis D. Morgan has been a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for several years. She is an FNP for CVS Caremark Minute Clinic in Northern Virginia. Dr. Morgan is Senior Core Faculty and a Coordinator for the FNP specialty at Walden University. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a member of several professional and community organizations. Her areas of research focuses on African American men’s and women’s health issues. She has published several research articles and has presented at national and international conferences. She has written grants focused on health disparities issues among African Americans.
