Ruth O. Arumala, DO, MPH, FACOG, NCMP, Co-Chief Medical Officer of Zuri Fertility, is a board-certified Gynecologist, Fibroid specialist, menopause practitioner & fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon specializing in women’s health, wellness, and beauty. Dr. Arumala is passionate about empowering women to live a healthier, more fulfilling life by equipping them with evidence-based knowledge in a simple, easy-to-digest manner.
Dr. Arumala received her medical degree from Rowan University SOM in NJ, Master of Public Health from Mercer University SOM, completed her Ob-Gyn specialty training at Georgetown University, and completed one of two prestigious dual accredited American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery facial and general cosmetic surgery fellowship. She has lived and practiced medicine in several cities in the United States and abroad. Her myriad medical and surgical experiences allow her to uniquely relate to many women across various cultures.
Dr. Arumala’s work has been featured in several national & international media publications, including Glamour magazine, and she has been featured on BBC radio. In addition, she has won 11 awards for her work in the past three years, including 2020 National Minority Quality Forum’s 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health, 2020, 2021 & 2022 Fort Worth Magazine “Top Docs” Tarrant County, Ob-Gyn, 2020, 2021 & 2022, Texas Super Doctors Rising Stars, and 2020 & 2021 Women in Medicine’s “Top ObGyn” Fort Worth.
Dr. Arumala is currently practicing as a Cosmetic/ Gyn Surgeon & Director of Aesthetics at Noble Cosmetic Surgery and is the co-CMO of Zuri Fertility. Dr. Arumala is also the hostess of the Pretty in Pink Podcast: A Modern Woman’s Guide to Health & so much more. In her free time, Dr. Arumala enjoys spending time with her husband, training for Bikini Bodybuilding competitions, and studying fashion & beauty trends.
