Dr. Benson completed her medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. She trained in emergency medicine and critical care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Benson has worked in emergency medicine in New York and South Florida for eight years post-residency, including time as an instructor and clinical professor with two residency programs, prior to making the decision to transition to working as an internist in 2021 to provide specialized care in wellness and preventative medicine. She currently practices in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
