I have 18 years’ scientific and leadership experience straddling Pharma and the charity sector. Previously, the Director of Research at MQ: Transforming mental health where I was accountable for the development and delivery of research strategy, impact and evaluation. I am passionate about collaboration, innovation and interdisciplinary research. I have a broad multidisciplinary international network spanning academia, industry and funders of social, biological and clinical research. I am experienced in building and leading large multi-sector networks and consortia in psychiatry and dementia.

Prior to joining MQ, I I had 14 years’ Pharma experience working in multi-disciplinary international project teams from target identification through to candidate selection. My technical background is as an in vivo behavioural neuroscience where, through closely working with clinical and preclinical colleagues, we have explored the neuronal circuitry underpinning a symptom cluster approach to psychiatric and neurodegenerative disease.
