Trenor Williams, MD, is a family physician, entrepreneur, former health system executive and consulting leader. He is CEO at Socially Determined, the Social Risk Intelligence company for organizations committed to addressing the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH).
Trenor began his career as the Medical Director of Family Practice at Mammoth Hospital in California. He went on to serve as Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserve. Trenor served as National Practice Leader of Physician Services at Healthlink, a division of IBM, and then went on to Deloitte Consulting, LLP, where he was the Senior Manager of Healthcare Consulting Services.
In 2008, Trenor founded Clinovations, a strategic healthcare consulting firm, and served as CEO. While at Clinovations, he was responsible for leading and implementing a clinical healthcare IT strategy for a nine-hospital health system. He also developed and implemented strategies for integrating national and state health policies into organizational IT and quality initiatives. He sold the company to the Advisory Board Company (ABCO) in 2014 and stayed as Managing Partner in the Consulting and Management division until 2016.
Trenor holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and received his Medical degree from Marshall University.
Trenor is passionate about solving food insecurity and hunger and currently serves on several boards, including Share Our Strength, DC Greens, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Babyscripts, LifeFuels, and Ziegler Investment Bank. He enjoys attending DC United soccer games, traveling to Virginia Tech for football games, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
