Previously, he worked as a project manager for a community health clinic in East Palo Alto, focusing on improving health for patients with obesity and diabetes. He earned his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, an AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, and a Masters in Medical Education from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Education.
