Dr. Dylesia is a licensed therapist, expert on mother-daughter relationships, conflicts, & estrangement, and executive producer of Mother-Daughter Trauma Recovery TV where she hosts a network of shows helping women with absent, abusive, and neglectful mothers navigate healing, life, and womanhood, including breaking the generational curse of mother-daughter trauma with their daughters. She has been featured in the media on a variety of platforms including O, the Oprah Magazine, POPSugar, and most recently, Hulu. Dr. Dylesia founded the International Mother-Daughter Trauma Recovery Institute where she leads a team of therapists who provide individual therapy to women recovering from mother-daughter trauma, and dyadic/couple counseling to mother-daughter pairs and romantic partners seeking to improve their communication, enhance trauma-informedness, and experience reconciliation following conflict provoked by unresolved mother-daughter/son trauma.
