  • First and foremost, AI is a great force multiplier. It allows an effective leader to do a lot more with a lot less, much quicker. One of the biggest things we'll see is that effective and ineffective leaders will be outed. Under the constant pressure to keep budgets flat or even decrease them, the pressure for higher performance on tighter timelines will not go away - so an effective leader will quickly adapt and deliver by using the right AI tools, while ineffective leaders will fail and hide behind excuses.

  • Assuming that most consumers are looking for outdoor cameras to solve security problems, they should prioritize how easy they are to use, how easy they are to install, price, and mobile access. It's very frustrating to have a camera that's super smart with the latest and greatest tech, but takes you a week to figure out how to use, and because of it's complexity, you end up not using it to its full capability thus paying a premium for tech with limited day-to-day effectiveness.

  • The density of the population on the East Coast means that if NYC becomes the AI hub, partnerships and opportunities can easily spread to Boston, DC, and Miami...imagine an AI hub spanning from Boston to Miami. People love the vibrant city life and hustle and bustle on the East Coast - but they are often forced to either relocate or work remotely for West Coast companies. This leads to detachment from their teams or sacrifices in their career growth - let's see if New York can change this.
