Elizabeth is the Senior Publicist and Account Strategist at Otter PR. Her professional journey started with becoming a research assistant to Stephen Hess at the Brookings Institution, and then she became Media Relations Coordinator at the National Association of Counties (NACo). Elizabeth then left D.C. to pursue a doctoral program in Rhetoric at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. For the next 12 years, she taught rhetoric at the college level, even winning Teacher of the Year in 2016. The pandemic led her back to her first love – media relations.
