Emma Payne
Emma is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Help Texts. She believes in people and our capacity to help each other when things go pear-shaped. Emma is an MIT graduate and seasoned technology entrepreneur with a 25 year career leading online and mobile projects including building tools to register young people to vote, creating online networks of support for families facing health challenges, and launching North America’s first online crisis intervention line.

We’d always intended to launch support for people after a terminal diagnosis. But last year, all of our clients, every hospice client and tissue bank, was struggling with staffing, burnout and shortages. So it also became really clear that we could use our existing platform to provide support around burnout and resilience as well. So we decided to do both, and that meant that Grief Coach as a name really no longer applied.
