Eric grew up in his family’s Chinese-American restaurant in Queens. An amateur cellist turned subpar college student turned chef, he decided to dedicate his career to restaurants despite crushing student debt. Over the past decade, he has been cooking in the kitchens of many New York Michelin-starred institutions such as Cafe Boulud, Gramercy Tavern and most recently as a sous chef at Eleven Madison Park.
