Erik leads strategy, offering management, and operating model functions as head of strategy for Cognizant's Digital Business and Technology service line. Previously, he specialized in strategy, M&A, and alliances in data/AI and served a tour as Chief of Staff to two Cognizant CEOs. Prior to that, he was a White House Fellow serving on the Policy Planning Staff of the Secretary of State where he focused on cyber policy. He has also served in a variety of homeland security and emergency management roles. In each of these varied contexts, Erik's work has focused on complex challenges of strategy, planning, execution, and decision-making support within and across large organizations.
