Erynn Kerrigan is a fast-rising star in media relations and the founder of XL PR. She has established a track record of story placement success, training other up-and-coming PR pros, and serving as an effective outsourced media placement specialist for boutique PR firms. Erynn is driven by the belief that people everywhere need stories that inspire them to elevate their contributions to the people around them and expand their influence for good. She is equally convinced that many of the best people and stories don’t receive the attention they deserve, and is devoted to ensuring that they do.
In June 2023, Erynn founded XL PR, to work with clients who traditionally couldn't afford big retainers but are SMBs that make up the backbone of America. She and her team have grown her firm by 6000 % in 18 months, and she has 10+ women contractors working for her, all mostly based in Utah. Her team does yearly retreats, Christmas parties, quarterly book clubs and executive coaching.
XL PR clients’ stories have been featured in Business Insider, CNBC, CNN, Forbes, Fox Business, Entrepreneur, SUCCESS, the Washington Post, and many other leading national and regional. In 2022, she was named the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Utah, and has won the Michael Smart Media Relations Best Pitch of the Year among hundreds of other PR pros for three consecutive years: in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
