Ethan brings more than 10 years of experience in arts management to his role as a member of the Arts Team at Bloomberg Philanthropies, where he manages capacity-building initiatives. These include the Digital Accelerator, which supports strategic improvements to technology infrastructure at cultural organizations; and Arts Innovation and Management (AIM), which supports small and midsize cultural organizations through unrestricted general operating support and management training.
Previously, Ethan served as Head of Client Success at Spektrix, a leading ticketing and customer relationship management software company. He has also held positions at New Music USA, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Make Music New York.
Ethan holds a BA in music from Haverford College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He can sometimes be found performing bluegrass fiddle at venues in and near NYC.
