Meet Fernando Hernandez, owner of Handyman Connection of Jacksonville Beach, FL. Fernando has been a Jacksonville resident since 2021—and a proud U.S citizen since July 2024! A mechanical engineer who has led engineering and maintenance projects for multiple industries for over 15 years, Hernandez has experience leading successful, high-performance teams of engineers, builders, and multi-crafts technicians. Having grown up in El Salvador, Fernando moved to the U.S. in 2015 to pursue his own American dream of having the freedom that comes with being his own boss. This goal of empowering himself to own and operate his own business led Fernando to Handyman Connection, where he tries to emulate the best practices of the top-performing franchise partners.
