Gaetano is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Biophysical Chemistry at Rutgers University. His primary interests are in protein structure, dynamics, and function analysis. The particular strengths of Gaetano's laboratory include development of computational NMR methods for analysis of protein structures and dynamics. He and his team also use X-ray crystallography, and integrative methods combining NMR, crystallography, SAXS, and molecular modeling to study molecular recognition processes.
