Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Gattison (he/him) has been playing the piano, singing, and writing songs since he was twelve. He comes from a rich musical heritage that includes his Aunt, Dorothy Morrison, who was the original singer of the 1960’s hit, “Oh Happy Day”, his uncle, Jerry Combs, who was signed to Warner Brothers Music, and his cousin Levi Seacer Jr, who played guitar for Prince.

Gattison began his musical journey in a small gospel church where he developed a smooth, soulful sound very early in life. In his teenage years, he discovered Electronic Dance Music, and he immediately fell in love with the genre which sparked a journey of developing the right mix of his musical upbringing and his new-found love.

Gattison is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Prior to coming out, he spent years hiding his true identity while growing up in a conservative Christian household.

He’s a dad to two beautiful children, co-parenting with his best friend to whom he was married for 9 years.
