Dr. Phillips is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, and serves on multiple national committees including: AAOS Foot and Ankle Instructional Course Committee, AAOS Foot and Ankle Evaluation Committee, and AOFAS Managerial Board of Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Outcomes Research network.
