George is responsible for the launch, development, and growth of four unique restaurants in the greater New York City and nearby New Jersey areas. With deep appreciation and passion for diverse cultures, foods, and hospitality – instilled by his Costa Rican and Greek heritage, a study abroad program in college, then living and working in Japan – the idea to open a restaurant was sparked at an impressionably young age. After years of working in restaurant operations, connecting with a business partner, and continuing intense business and entrepreneurial education; George and his partner opened their first restaurant. Faced with growth challenges that all new restaurants encounter, they continually strive to improve their business acumen and conquer those challenges as Bogota Latin Bistro’s popularity soars.
