Gigi Schweikert, CEO of Lightbrigde Academy, has over 30+ years of experience in educational child care. Having started her career as a teacher, Gigi was inspired to create lasting change for students and made the decision to go from the classroom to the boardroom starting her career as the Director of the United Nations Child Care Centre. Gigi serves as the President of the Lightbridge Foundation, a non-profit 501-c3 providing over $500,000 in grants and scholarships to support the health, education and well-being of children and their families. In addition, Gigi’s expertise includes creating innovation to ensure the delivery of high-quality early education and care programs. Her advocacy work extends both nationally and internationally and includes serving as an advisory board member for Marco Polo World School and Seton Hall University. But most importantly, Gigi is also a mother to four beautiful children who have only strengthened her passion for educational childcare.
