RESO Standards: Do Brokerages Really Care? Presented by: Glenn S. Phillips, CEO at Lake Homes Realty Description: With full brokerage membership in 108 MLS and operating wholly-owned (non-franchised) real estate brokerages in 26 states, Lake Homes Realty has a unique perspective of MLS, data, and brokerage mindsets. Many challenges to acceptance of data standards are known, but some are not always apparent to all parties. RESO is filled with the parties who have already shown and believe in standards “buy in.” However, not every brokerage or MLS believes in standards. Phillips presents a candid and raw view of obstacles that must still be overcome before standards will be universally accepted.
