Hugo spent over 15 years in private banking, including roles at HSBC and Banistmo (part of the Bancolombia Group), where he worked closely with high-net-worth clients and saw firsthand how traditional financial institutions were failing to meet the complex and global needs of the wealthy. This experience led him to co-found BoBo in 2018, to create a platform that would offer a more personalized, high-tech solution for managing substantial wealth across borders.
