Ian Fletcher is the author of 'Industrial Policy for the United States: Winning the Competition for Good Jobs and High-Value Industries' and 'Free Trade Doesn’t Work: What Should Replace It and Why'. He is also coauthor of The Conservative Case Against Free Trade. He was previously Senior Economist at the Coalition for a Prosperous America, on whose Advisory Board he now serves. Earlier in his career, he was Research Fellow at the US Business and Industry Council and an economic analyst in private practice. His writing on trade policy has been published in The Huffington Post, Tikkun, Palladium, WorldNetDaily, The American Thinker, The Christian Science Monitor, The Real-World Economics Review, Bloomberg News, Seeking Alpha, and Morning Consult.
