Immad Akhund | Source | Founder and CEO at Mercury

Immad Akhund is the co-founder and CEO of Mercury, a fintech company building banking for startups. He founded Mercury in April 2019 with $25M in funding led by Andreessen Horowitz to democratize banking by bringing powerful, intuitive tools and services to startups, regardless of their size. Prior to starting Mercury, Immad was the Co-founder of HeyZap, a mobile ad company, which he sold to RNTS for $45M in 2016. Immad was a Part-time Partner at Y-Combinator in San Francisco, where HeyZap was incubated.  He was also previously Co-founder and the CTO of clickpass.com. He is active in and supportive of the Silicon Valley startup community, and is an investor in Nurx, Rappi, and Airtable.
