Jaclyn (Berrie) Suri has an extensive background in theater, film, television, producing, casting, talent management, music management, property management, and modeling. And though no longer practicing, she is also a licensed Computer Network Engineer (CNE) and licensed Real Estate Agent in NY and CA.

She and her husband Ike are fully invested, on the boards of, and own many companies and properties. I was particularly surprised by the amount of unprecedented knowledge had in the world of Gold mines and the governmental issues involved and surrounded by mining in land protected areas of California.

Of course! They are the proud owners of a Gold Mine in Death Valley! When asked, “Why so many?” Jaclyn said “First, it’s never about the amount. You need to have the wherewithal to give 200% to each and every endeavor you are exposed to. Second, You can never learn too much…There’s an undeniable feeling of “wholeness” when involved in so many different companies. It’s akin to having knowledge in various realms of different peoples singular realities. Indulging in all sides of knowledge can only be positive! If you can manage understanding, an open mind, and have respect for everyone’s points of view… the world is your oyster!”

Ike and Jaclyn (Ike, a serial entrepreneur) own a booming, company called Funding Shield. Booming and hopeful for a “unicorn.” At this moment in time… our true main focus.

Ike, is also quite knowledgeable and well known for his contributions in information technology, information security, real estate, commercial real Estate, mortgage lending, Saas development, software testing, cybersecurity, insurance, information management, software testing, and business analytics FundingSheild and Pelican Point Media and Talent, two companies in the couples back pocket surprisingly “blowing up” in their respective industries. Recently, Pelican has joined forces with BTMR_Ent, a music label, representing the likes of Jalyn Emil Hall (All American, Space Jam, etc) launching the third part of his triple threat career in film, television, and now music. As stated before, this is a “power couple” like no other!

Jaclyn has graced the stage in shows such as Les Miserables, Joseph, Grease, Anything Goes and many others. She has credits in numerous TV shows such as Law and Order, Michaels Hayes and John Stewart's "You Wrote It, You Watch It". She has modeled for Raybans, Escada, IW Harper Bourbon, Teen Spirit and Vidal Sasoon. She has been seen in magazines such as Glamor, Modern Salon and other international media. Jaclyn attended the Long Island High School of Performing Arts. She further attended NYU's Tisch School of Performing Arts with a double major in Psychology. She won the "Seymore Weiner" scholarship for her winning montage of "Judy Garlands “Born in a Trunk". She also attended The Lee Strasberg Institute for many years. After moving from Manhattan to LA she continued her passion in the entertainment industry by working on numerous projects for well known producers and directors at Paramount Pictures.

Now, they are the proud parents of amazing twin boys, Jaikaran and kabir. Both are following in their parents footsteps. They are at great CA schools majoring in Business and Precision Coding with a minor in Psychology. All this,while doing paid internships at top companies in Fintech and Global Executive search of course with specialty in Finance!

Presently, this “power couple” continues to work passionately with each other focusing on their specific specialties and sometimes crossing over into passions of the other. For example, Jaclyn’s first booking as a Casting associate put Ike and his partner, Adam Chaudry (truly based on character and talent) at FundingSheild into a great GrubHub commercial! Yes, Ike and Adam were not only known as “The Fintech Guru’s,” but they also were also known as “The GrubHub Guys!”

Their most recent endeavor in the entertainment industry were the production of various well known films including Cabin Fever, Intruder, Con is On (Sophia Vergara, Uma Thurman, Alice Eves, Crispin Glover), Exposed (Keanu Reeves and Ana De Armas), Midnight Man and many others.

They are avid supporter of organizations and charities such as Crohns & Colitis, Short Gut syndrome, Autism Speaks, and Nord. Jaclyn was a former President of Adoption Crossroads in Manhattan and The Make a Wish Foundation.

They are always n the lookout for their next endeavor…
