I am CEO and founder of Immersive Labs, the world’s first human cyber readiness platform. Prior to founding Immersive Labs in 2017, I delivered GCHQ’s cyber summer school where I discovered that traditional training doesn’t suit the people or pace of cybersecurity. Immersive Labs empowers organizations to increase, measure and demonstrate human capabilities in every part of their cybersecurity to ensure every person in every team can stand prepared for every cyber threat.
Attacks are on the increase, but the number of qualified professionals available to repel them is not. How can organisations best deal with this problem?
Companies need to measure where they are with the issues they’re facing and, based on that measurement, identify their skills gaps. Such gaps could take the form of existing employees who don’t understand how their role pertains to cybersecurity, say, but the benchmark assessment could also prove having a deficit of security analysts, for example.
