James has 15 years of experience in physiology, biosignal methodology, signal analysis, and wearable device design. He managed a biosignal lab during his Ph.D. on heart rate variability methodology (USYD, '15), then spent four years offloading, processing and interpreting biosignal data from wearable monitors as a research scientist (NEU). He has the usual coterie of scientific research articles, global conference presentations, and awards. His alternate career as a meta-scientist primarily involves fighting bad research design and various forms of scientific dishonesty, and winning.
