James M. Wilson, PhD
Dr. Wilson is an Extension Apiculturist at Virginia Tech. His focus includes many Extension efforts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, teaching the Bees and Beekeeping class, Insects in Human Society class on campus, and he serves as the faculty advisor to the student club the Beekeepers at Virginia Tech. In his Extension efforts, Dr. Wilson works with growers, gardeners, naturalists, beekeepers, educators, and Extension Agents throughout the Commonwealth.

Now it’s more people getting involved. but there’s an education component in there, so I think as more people find free time or more people find more of a tie to their food, then they’re more interested in pollination and more interested in bees and honeybees specifically.
