On the record

I am a clinical psychologist (DClinPsy) researching misophonia (strong negative reactions to repetitive sounds like eating and breathing). I set up the first two misophonia services within specialist psychology clinics in the NHS. My research is looking at the aspects of misophonia that cause severe distress and impairment, and how therapy can help to improve this.
