Janelle Sallenave is the Chief Experience Officer at Chime, a financial technology company that provides the #1 most loved banking app in the United States. Janelle is responsible for ensuring members have an optimal experience with Chime’s banking services, overseeing member experience, customer care, and operations.

Janelle joined Chime from Uber, where she ran the UberEats business for the US and Canada markets. In that role, she more than doubled gross revenue while turning the business profitable through a series of initiatives that doubled the user base, delivered best-in-industry user engagement, and changed the operating expense base. Her work included Uber’s acquisition of Postmates.

Earlier in her career, Janelle served in a number of leadership roles at Charles Schwab & Co., including Senior Vice President of the strategy organization, where she oversaw the development of growth strategies for Schwab’s Investor Services business, now the largest brokerage firm in the financial services industry helping millions of individual investors with brokerage, banking, insurance and other financial services.
Janelle holds undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and earned a Master of Science degree in operations research from Stanford University.
