Janet Elkin is CEO of IMN Enterprises, a thriving women-owned and led healthcare staffing business. It was formed in 2020 when Janet purchased ICON Medical Network from Ashley Simpson, another savvy entrepreneur and now president of IMN Enterprises.
In quick time, they've have grown the Dallas-based company from $16 million in revenue in 2020 to $70 million in 2023. The company is on track to generate $100 million in revenue in 2024. It has gone from 10 internal employees to over 100 today, plus approximately 400 contract healthcare workers in the field — largely physicians, advanced practitioners, dentists, and allied health professionals. They’re at the forefront of providing locum tenens (temporary) clinicians in healthcare facilities across the country. The solution is helping close critical healthcare staffing gaps while giving providers the opportunity to have flexibility and a greater work/life balance.
IMN’s internal employees are fully remote. For IMN, remote is not a short-term perk, or a temporary solution; it is the company's past, present and future. To make it succeed, IMN is dedicated to hiring employees that live by their mission — do good, do well, save lives. This philosophy translates into a workforce that values each employee’s contribution to delivering the highest quality medical care. The company averages an impressive 90% employee retention rate.
Accompanying Janet and Ashley in the C-Suite are Tammy Bills, CFO; Susan Miller, Chief People Officer; JoAnn Lee, RN, Chief Clinical Officer; and Dr. Joseph Sturdivant, Chief Medical Officer.
