Jason Steffen is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. A native of Utah, He received his BS in Physics and Mathematics from Weber State University and his MS and PhD in Physics from the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Steffen spent a decade as the Brinson Fellow at Fermilab and the Lindheimer Fellow at Northwestern University, both near Chicago, and recently moved back West as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Steffen is an author on over 60 publications and has been privileged to contribute to many recent discoveries in exoplanet science.
