The Bruce Hotel in Stratford, Ontario is one of the few fully aaccessible hotels in the world.
"Naming my third property, The Bruce Hotel, took months, even though the perfect name was right in front of me. For many, "The Bruce" evokes the Ontario wilderness. For me, it's a tribute to my father, who passed away in 2010. My father, Bruce, was humble yet impactful. A businessman, philanthropist, and mentor, he left a legacy of kindness and generosity. He was a voracious reader, a sports enthusiast, and loved both gourmet meals and simple treats. He accompanied me to Stratford Festival openings, always reluctantly wearing a tuxedo.
In As You Like It, Rosalind says, “Thou art thy father’s daughter.” I am, and nothing makes me prouder. The Bruce Hotel stands as a testament to his enduring legacy."
