Akers brings extensive business experience as a corporate executive and a successful multi-unit, multi-brand franchise operator. A Midwest native, Jerry lives on a family farm in northeast Iowa but enjoys time away at his lake house in central Arkansas.
Jerry serves as Chairman on the International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchisee Forum Board, National Federation of Independent Business State Leadership Council, Iowa Board of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences and Great Clips Advisory Board.
He is a regional developer and franchisee for The Joint Chiropractic, and franchisee for Great Clips.
