Jim Koman is the Founder and CEO of ElmTree Funds, a St. Louis, Missouri-based private equity commercial real estate investment firm. Jim founded ElmTree in 2011 and brings nearly four decades of commercial real estate and development experience to his work. As CEO, he provides strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the firm’s operations, including primary responsibility for firm management and project coordination. A member of ElmTree’s investment committee, Jim is active in all areas of ElmTree’s activities, including investment strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio management. Through affiliated investments, Jim has transacted over $12 billion of real estate assets.
