Jindou Lee is Chief Executive Officer and founder of HappyCo, a multifamily PropTech company that develops software and service solutions to enable real-time operations, asset and maintenance management. Born out of a need he saw as a resident and property investor himself, Jindou founded HappyCo in 2011 to streamline property operations and inspection processes, addressing the gap in reliable and modern software solutions for property managers.

Over the past three years, Jindou has led HappyCo in developing its flagship product suite, including Happy Asset, Happy Property, and Happy Force, which prioritizes user experience and operational efficiency. Now, with HappyCo's most recent release, Centralized Maintenance, powered by JoyAI, Jindou is focused on transforming maintenance operations from a challenge into a strategic advantage for property owners, managers, and technicians alike.

Under his leadership, Jindou has successfully guided HappyCo through remarkable growth, including nearly 4 million units under platform management plus $52M in Series B funding led by Camber Creek. His entrepreneurial journey is also marked by the founding and successful exits of two tech companies before HappyCo, underscoring deep experience in the tech landscape.

Jindou's commitment to enhancing company culture and customer satisfaction has not only grown the company to its current position as a market leader but also made Jindou a thought leader in the multifamily space. Prior to HappyCo, Jindou’s creative and technical expertise were honed at Midway Games, where he led UI development for iconic games such as Mortal Kombat and Gauntlet. He holds a Bachelor of Visual Communications (Design) at the University of South Australia.
